Services

So… about your website.

What I do together with you

The website you want to build has to have some thought behind it before you leap into the nearest offer of cheap hosting with a forever free domain.

I don’t build the website for you, I build it with you so you get to know how your website works.

What you want is a website that accommodates your idea with the flexibility to grow with how you envision the future of your project.

Building a website is not quick and easy

If something is easy and needs no effort, its usually too good to be true, and wastes time.

There is a learning curve with websites, apps, mobile screens, responsive layouts… all this takes time to learn.

The time you invest building a website will give you the return on your investment. The result is a website built the way you want, and you have control of your website.

Built into my services is one-on-one training. I will build it with you, and show you how to use the Divi Theme.

Why would I do this?

Because so many people start out with the wrong information about domain registration, hosting, and freebies that mushroom into expensive software problems.

The inventor of the World Wide Web, Sir Tim Berners-Lee, never intended for everyone to have to learn complex code to use the Web.

Websites require some maintenance. This is not a problem when you know the website operates.

What Theme Should You Use?

The Divi Theme

Divi lets you shape your ideas without reshaping your wallet.

I am not a developer, I’m a designer and a writer. I help you layout the content and achieve the balance of text, images, and white space, so your message reaches an audience.

My interest and passion for design comes from being a professional ballet dancer. A website is the choreography of your idea which comes together on the stage of the Internet through the performance of a website.

About Code

WordPress is already coded with HTML by the WordPress core developers. The Divi theme overlays the WordPress core code.

Code is HTML – hypertext markup language.

CSS – cascading style sheet used for specific styling.

Class ID – labeling a module to assist a function.

HTML is for the developer.

With Divi you build on the front end using the Visual Builder without having to know how to code.

Two Most Important Decisions

Your website needs:

1. A reliable Hosting Company that accommodates security, maintenance, 24/7 tech support, and 7.0+PHP servers.

2. A reliable theme, secure, and updated regularly with 24/7 tech support, at no extra cost.

I am an affiliate with Elegant Themes and SiteGround. I have used their services since 2012, and have no hesitatation recommending excellence to you.

The Divi Theme

One of the most versatile and user friendly WordPress Premium Themes you’ll have the good fortune to use. Always updated, secure, with new layouts each week. Excellent tech support when you need it. I’ve used the Divi Theme since it came out in 2013. The moment I saw this theme I knew it would change everything. And it did.

SiteGround Web Hosting

When you need tech support and you need it fast, you’ll get it from SiteGround, any time of the day or night. The back end of the website is complicated and best left to those who know how it works and love working there. That’s what you’ll find at SiteGround.

The Divi Layout Library

The Divi Theme comes with a library of template layouts. All the layouts can be rearranged and recolored to suit your specific needs.

The template layout is just a guide to help you see what’s possible when you put images and texts into a web page or blog post.

When you use a premade layout you see what’s possible, but you also see what you want to change based on your idea.
